Larry G. Reese, our dear brother, passed away at his home Friday, May 17, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born and raised in Tullahoma and a 1975 graduate of Tullahoma High School. 

Larry was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Perry & Johnnie Reese, Maternal grandparents John & Gladys Berry, parents A. J. & Regenia Berry Reese, Sister Anna Johnson, and niece Kimberly Johnson.

Larry is survived by sisters Mary Jane Staples & Linda (William) Sykes of Murfreesboro, Bertha Smith, of Tullahoma and Della Reese of New Jersey. Nieces and nephews, and those whom he thought of as family and many dear friends.

 Larry worked several years in law enforcement beginning in 1978 with MTSU Campus Police until his death as Lieutenant with Vanderbilt Police and Vanderbilt Public Safety.

Larry was a friend to everyone he met and made an impression on each of us. Our hearts are heavy, but our memories are joyous. And as Larry has said so many times “God has this”.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 8 at Hart Street Church of Christ in Nashville. Visitation with family noon to 1 p.m., services at 1 p.m.
