At the 95^th Tennessee Veterans of Foreign War State Convention on Friday, recent Tullahoma High School graduate Jillian Gillis was named the VFW Cadet of the Year for the State of Tennessee.

Cadet Gillis was honored by Eric Spurbeck, the Tennessee State VFW Commander, and National VFW representatives who presented her with a $500 check and a plaque.
