Getting away clean: Women steal from Bath and Body Works

A pair of women lifted nearly $1,500 in beauty supplies from Bath and Body Works, absconding with the merchandise after being rebuffed in their attempt to victimize nearby Ulta just prior.

Management told police that the two women walked into the store wearing medical masks and carrying large empty bags. They then reportedly grabbed shopping baskets and began gathering items. However, after selecting an estimated $1,421 in goods, the women did not stop at the checkout counter but instead fled the store and jumped into a maroon Kia Sorento.

The women are described as both being black females of medium build both with long braided hair. They took around 110 total items during their shoplifting spree.

Police plan to obtain video footage from surrounding stores in an attempt to get identifications on the thieves.
