Tullahoma Parks and Recreation in conjunction with Tullahoma Utilities Authority (TUA) have recently announced the completion of a lighting installation on Field 3 of Waggoner Park.

“This enhancement marks a milestone in improving the community’s recreational facilities, offering residents extended opportunities for evening sports and recreational activities,” stated city officials.

Parks and Recreation Director J.P. Kraft said that the city was “incredibly excited” about the new lighting.

“This improvement allows us to offer extended hours for sports and recreational activities, providing more opportunities for families and individuals to engage in healthy, active lifestyles.  It’s an investment that will benefit the community for years to come,” he said.

TUA President Allen Potter added that TUA is “proud to provide this service to the city of Tullahoma.”

“We believe in the power of collaboration and community spirit, and we recognize that we are not only enhancing the facilities for our local athletes but also promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose. This initiative is an excellent example of how working together can bring about positive change and improve the quality of life for everyone in Tullahoma,” said Potter.
