Wildcats win Keith Maxwell Invitational

The Tullahoma High School golf team won the 13-team tournament hosted by Warren County with a team score of 314.
The Wildcats beat the second place team, Cookeville by six strokes. Eagleville finished third with 330, just ahead of Coffee County at 331.
Alex Miller led the team with an individual score of 74, the best individual score of the 70 competitors. The next best individual score was 77, scored by a couple of other athletes. Keegan Taylor had the next best score for the Tournament winning ‘Cats with a 79. Jack Hill shot an 80, Hunter Hogan an 81 and Brody Fulmer scored an 87.
Lady Wildcats Myla Dennis shot an 87, competing as an individual. That score was the fifth best female score out of the 27 golfers. She was three strokes behind the third place score.
The next contest for the Tullahoma golfers is on Sep. 17 at Shelbyville starting at 4 p.m.
