Choose which policies are best for you and your family
Watching the Debate between President Trump and VP Harris on Sept. 10 was more media bias against Pres. Trump. I was anxious to hear what Ms. Harris would say about her time as Vice President spent in the White House with Joe Biden. (He seems to be spending a lot of time sunning on the beach, which begs the question, “who is running the country?” Maybe he needs time to heal from being kicked out of Oval Office where he didn’t belong in the first place.”
I watched Newsmax on Wednesday to hear who “won” the debate. I was not disappointed by the reviews I heard, saying Pres. Trump made good points even debating against not one person but three. Host Rob Schmitt described Ms. Harris as “vapid”. To be sure I understood what he was referring to I looked on my phone app to be sure. Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: “vapid: lacking flavor, zest, interest, animation or spirit: FLAT, DULL //a gossipy, vapid woman, obsessed by her own elegance – R.F. Delderfield”
If she were running for president for her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, I would have said a resounding “hurray” for her. In one sense she was not vapid. She smiled, gestured with her hands, making eye contact with the moderators, who were very impressed with her. However, she is running, without receiving a single vote, to be the President of the United States of America, the greatest nation on earth. We deserve better than what she has to offer, which is nothing but “banana republic” policies.
I knew it was going to be an interesting night when the first question/answer section was: “VP Harris, as to the economy, are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Her answer, “I was raised in a middle class family”. (Her father was a professor at Stanford University who studied Marxism.) After that first answer, the rest of her replies were hyperbole.
While “news” outlets like ABC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN and print media gushed over her, real voters know what President Trump did for America during his four years. Voters have lived through four years of the Biden/Harris administration and know first-hand what she has done: open borders, high food and gas prices, defund the police, gun control and many other policies which degrade America’s standing in the world.
Voting is a right guaranteed by our Constitution. It’s not too late for every legal American registered voter to become informed on the candidate’s policies. Read, listen, study then choose for yourself which policies will be best for you and your family.
God Bless America!
