Tullahoma Elementary Cross Country begins

The Tullahoma City Schools held their first cross country meet of the season at East Lincoln Elementary last Thursday.
There was a massive turnout of runners and lots of support from families. Robert E. Lee Elementary dominated the podium with eight of the 12 medalists. Lincoln Price of REL took first place in the boys’ meet with a time of six minutes and 18 seconds. The second place finisher was Riley Prosser, third place Parker Simmons, fourth Hudson Bussell, fifth place was Silas Martinez and sixth was Ryder Albert. Bussell was the only runner not from REL, he attends Bel-Aire. East Lincoln’s Giselle Harris-Hickerson won the girls’ meet with a time of 7:20. The other medalists were; second place runner Logan Price, Zariyah Horton in third, Elaina Alderman in fourth, Posey Wood in fifth and Penelope Goodman in sixth.
