The Tullahoma High School golf team finished the TSSAA Division 1, Class AA District 8 Championship with a score of 323 for third place.

The Wildcats were 13 strokes behind second place Lawrence County and 14 behind Coffee County, the winners. Alex Miller led the ‘Cats with a low score of 77. That was good enough for the fifth best individual score. Brody Fulmer followed him with a 78. Keegan Taylor had an 83, Jack Hill had an 85 and Hunter Hogan shot a 98. Tullahoma’s alternate Caden Finchum had a score of 79. The team finish allows them to advance to the Region 4 Championship in Cookeville next week.

Lady Wildcat Myla Dennis had a career low round with an 84. That was the third best individual score of all the female golfers. Her performance also allows her to go to Cookeville next week competing in the girls’ individual championship.
