The future Tullahoma Boys & Girls Club has announced substantial progress in the development of a new facility designed to provide crucial support and opportunities for local youth.

The organization also announced the appointment of Jim Troupe as the new Chair of the board. Troupe brings over a decade of experience from the Advisory Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Bedford County, including a notable three-year tenure as Chair. As a retired banker from Shelbyville’s First Community Bank of Tennessee, he holds a B.S. from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.

“His extensive connections with the Shelbyville and Rutherford County Boys & Girls Clubs will be instrumental in advancing the new facility’s goals,” organization representatives said in a statement.

To support the expansion efforts, the organization is seeking dedicated new board members who are passionate about positively impacting local youth.
