Jerry Wayne Spry of Tullahoma passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 at his home at the age of 82. Mr. Spry was born in Manchester to the late Cecil and Virginia Adams Spry. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and went on to work as a Barber at Spry’s Hair Cutting. Mr. Spry was an avid golfer, a model train and train enthusiast, long-time member of the Gospel Heritage IV singing quartet, and was a gifted piano and organ player. He was also a devoted and long-time member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spry was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Michelle Spry. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Norma Holt Spry; one daughter, Monique (Boo) Johnston; one son, Jay Spry; and four grandchildren, Jayson, Jada, and Jordyn Spry, and Mason Johnston.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 8 at Kilgore Funeral Home with the funeral following with Richard Reed and Jack Hice officiating. Burial followed at Hurricane Cemetery.

Kilgore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
