Betty Jean Tims Smith, 75, of Decherd went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, on June 20, 1949 to the late Fred Dance and Elizabeth Pauline (Creek) Tims.

A visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 15 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service followed at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
