James Edward Luttrell, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 at his home at the age of 90.

Mr. Luttrell was born in Winchester to the late Harl and Elizabeth Bailey Luttrell. During his life he worked as a machinist at Arnold Engineering Development Center and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Luttrell was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lynn Luttrell; and one sister, Charlotte Hammers.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Luttrell; one daughter, Carol Lewis Haas; two sons, Kelly Lewis and his wife Sondra and Keith Luttrell and his wife Amanda; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Luttrell; grandchildren, Tracy Hunt, Amy Hayes, Lawrence Haas, Kelsea Damron, Caleb Lewis, Baylee Hester, and Kaycee Luttrell; and great-grandchildren, Darrick, Katie, Michael, Nicholas, Colton, Wyatt, Harper, Rayleigh, and Holston.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at noon in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
