Susie C. Barton, passed this life on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma at the age of 94.

Mrs. Barton was born in Winchester to the late Elisha Vernon Cunningham, and Bernice McKinney Cunningham. During her life she worked as a Legal Clerk at Arnold Center and was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her husband, LaVoy Barton; three brothers, Vernon Edward Cunningham, J.W. Cunningham, and Fred Cunningham; and three sisters, Louise Knoerr, Mabel Banks, and Ona Franklin.

She is survived by one son, Eddie (Suzanne) Barton; three daughters, Lisa Barton, Karen Carlini, and Kay Beller; eight grandchildren, Dr. Ginny Barton (Luke) Doroshenko, Blake (Allison) Barton, Laura (Nathaniel) Anderson, Daniel Barton, Ashlyn Carlini, Spencer Easterling, Clayton (Brianna) Easterling, and Jordan Easterling; and ten great-grandchildren, Cobe, Kathryn, and Emmie Smith, Pax, Mia, and Vera Doroshenko, Levi and Kimber Anderson, and Jasper and Henry Barton.

Funeral was held Friday, Dec. 27 with Pastor Jim Norman officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1195, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
