Free Christmas Day meals were delivered to Tullahoma-area residents for the 25th year according to Coordinators Lane and Evelyn Curlee.
A record 777 meals were packed and delivered to 320 families around Tullahoma according to the Curlees.
Around 140 volunteers showed up at Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton Hospital on Christmas morning to package the meals, which were then delivered all over town.
“Thank you to the many, many individuals, businesses, civic clubs and churches who provided financial help and all the wonderful individuals who dropped off desserts. Special thanks to the Westside Church of the Nazarene, Lulu’s Cafe Restaurant and Tullahoma Publix for the food donations. This could not happen without the support of Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton Hospital and the dietary staff there….they are the stars of the show! Where else could you get that amount of food prepared on Christmas morning? And with big smiles and such eagerness to help,” added the Curlees.
