City officials have announced that a portion of Ovoca Road will be closed beginning for approximately 10 days for a drain culvert installation starting Tuesday, Feb. 11.

The closure will be from the Y intersection with Riley Creek Road and extend northeast about 500 feet.

If weather events affect the project time, city officials will provide updates.

“Riley Creek Road is unaffected and will remain open throughout, as well as temporary detours through adjoining roads,” officials said. “Detour routes will be posted at the roadsides in both directions, so please plan your routes and travel times between Feb. 11 and Feb. 21 to adjust for the brief closure.”

City officials thank residents for their patience and accommodation of the construction process.
