12 Tullahoma Wrestlers advance to Individual Sectionals

After a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Class A State Duals, the THS wrestling team got right back to business with their performance at Individual Regionals, with 12 of 13 participants qualifying to compete at Sectionals this Saturday.
Tullahoma dominated the event topping the points leaderboard with 235 points–81 points higher than Eagleville who finished in second place. Out of the 12 wrestlers who qualified for Sectionals, seven of them grabbed first-place finishes, these wrestlers being Kiivon Butler, Zachary Murphy, Grayson Hartman, Nolan Stroop, Corbin Avans, Sylas McGowen, and Bob Tatum. The seven wrestlers in their runs to being crowned Individual Regional champs in their respective weight divisions, combined for 13 pins.
Wildcats Kameron Stafford, and Sayvion Surles also had great runs in their brackets. The two finished as runner-ups, with both THS wrestlers making it to the championship bout in their divisions.
Sectionals will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Station Camp High School, as the group of 12 Wildcats will look to continue to carve their path to the Individual State Tournament.
