TN Tech introduces admitted students to campus at upcoming ‘Spring Showcase’ events

Tennessee Tech University will welcome newly admitted students and their families to campus for an exclusive day of preview events at its annual Spring Showcase on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, March 1.

The event allows incoming students – typically still in high school – to get an early feel for life at Tech with a day full of activities.

In the morning, students will enjoy programming specific to their chosen major while connecting with other admitted peers. Students will also be able to meet their future professors and have their questions answered by both faculty and current students before enjoying a free lunch, followed by a “Living Wings Up” informational session hosted by the Division of Student Affairs.

“When the class of 2029 comes to campus this fall, we want Tennessee Tech to already feel like home – that’s why Spring Showcase is such an important opportunity,” said Ted McWilliams, interim director of admissions at Tech. “This a way for admitted students to get acclimated to Tech while they are still in high school and see our vibrant campus life, world-class faculty and welcoming sense of hospitality for themselves.”

McWilliams continued, “Our team has been hard at work designing a day of engaging activities so that students can meet classmates and instructors, explore campus, get their questions answered and be ready to return in the fall with confidence in their decision to be a Golden Eagle.”

Spring Showcase is offered across two dates for families’ convenience, but attendees need only choose one session. On both dates, programming runs from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., with check-in taking place in the Roaden University Center.

Admitted students can register for either Spring Showcase by visiting www.tntech.edu/springshowcase.

Students can also still apply for fall 2025 admission to Tennessee Tech at www.tntech.edu/apply
