The Tullahoma Fire Department called in its crews from both stations in response to a structure fire on Wildwood Drive.
According to a statement from the city, both Tullahoma Fire Stations One and Two responded to a structure fire on Wildwood Drive on Sunday, March 23. The fire was contained to the carport area of the home with minor damage to the attic and adjacent walls to the carport.
There were no injuries or casualties.
“Fire crews knocked down the fire quickly to mitigate damage,” Fire Chief Kenneth Pearson said. “It appears to have originated in the carport area, and they executed the call perfectly to stop any spread and kept the neighborhood safe.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation and more information will be available after the investigation is completed.
