Xavier Farrell plays in the BCAT all-star game

The all-time leading scorer for the Tullahoma boys’ basketball program, Xavier Farrell, played in the BCAT All-Star game on March 29.
Farrell, who helped lead Tullahoma to their first state appearance in school history, was part of an esteemed group of players on the hardwood for the BCAT event. The field of players on the court was made up of some of the best basketball players in the state of Tennessee from the 1A division all the way up to 6A, with some players at the event slated to play collegiate ball next year.
Farrell, who mentioned he wants to play college basketball in his presser after the championship game against Upper High School, remains uncommitted.
Head coach Welch, who has continually sung the praises of his star senior throughout the entirety of the season, did so after Farrell and Khani Johnson both mentioned they wanted to continue their playing careers in the state final postgame presser.
“Anybody that doesn’t offer these fellas are missing out, ok. If you get fired in the next few years and you didn’t recruit these guys, that’s your fault.”
Whoever decides to offer Farrell can do no wrong. The Tullahoma kid is humble, a hard worker, and is always ready in the biggest moments of the game.
His story as a player is just getting started.
