Madison Goad’s stellar season continues to be recognized

The Tullahoma softball team’s star senior infielder has reappeared as a nominee for the Nashville area girls’ athlete of the week. She was also listed as a nominee for the TSSAA Mid-Season Player of the Year.

Goad who has been an integral part of the Lady Wildcats bolstering a 16 -7 record thus far this season, which is already a game higher than their win total from last year, where they finished 15-11.

Goad so far this season has 45 hits, 18 home runs, and 67 RBIs. She has a .617 batting average which is over double the national high school average at .292.

Her performance that is getting highlighted in another week of her dominating whoever dares stand on the pitching mound to face her, is her and the rest of the Lady Wildcats 14-1 win against South Pittsburg. Goad in the contest went three for three with two home runs.

The Tullahoma senior and commit to Vol State Junior College continues her trek on one of the most outstanding individual seasons the Tullahoma softball program has ever seen.
