City officials have announced that a section of Cedar Lane will be closed for two nights for construction.

According to a statement, Cedar Lane will be closed at the Wilson Ave intersection on the nights of Tuesday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 11, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

“‘Road Closed’ signs will be placed along Cedar Lane between Wilson Avenue and Lincoln Street to provide motorists with advance warning,” city officials said. “Residents on side streets between Wilson Avenue and Lincoln Street will still be able to access their streets, but they will not be able to cross Wilson Avenue at Cedar Lane from the south side during these times.”

Residents are advised to take alternate routes where available and to avoid driving in the area when possible.
