Tullahoma Football is ready to make some noise

The Tullahoma Wildcats football team has been hard at work for a while now, and they have shown no sign of slowing down. This 2025-2026 team clearly has something to prove.
Intensity filled the air at Tullahoma’s practice field on Wednesday afternoon. Storm clouds were forming, but the Wildcats did not care. They were working. After that stinging loss from Nolensville that put their season to an end back in November, they really have not stopped grinding to make sure they don’t face that same outcome again this year.
No longer than a week after the loss of the team that will be featured on the field this year were in the weight room, striving to get better as a group. That type of mindset is the one a coach wants to see from a team, and all of the fans of Tullahoma want to see. Right now with the season about 30 days from starting, that energy they showed then is still present.
It will be an exciting season with tons of talented seniors sprinkled all around the field for Tullahoma. And it will be an extra exciting season with the 100th Coffee Pot being played this year.
“It is people that go from elementary school, pre-school and all the way to high school together. And then they play against the cross-town rival. When you get to college that doesn’t happen. There are huge rivalries, but it is not that guy you went to elementary school with,” head football coach Coy Sisk said regarding the Coffee Pot game.
The Wildcats will look to reclaim the Coffee Pot after losing 24-21 last season to the Red Raiders, and they will look to improve their overall season as well.
