Coffee County 4-H had an unforgettable week July 21–25 at the Tennessee State 4-H Roundup held in Knoxville, where nine delegates and one volunteer proudly represented the county and brought home top honors.
Several Coffee County 4-H members stood out for their achievements. Caroline Teal was named the Level I State Winner in the Dairy Project, showcasing her hard work and dedication to agriculture.
Sarah Weaver was selected as the Level II State Winner in Agriculture Leadership, earning a college scholarship and an invitation to attend National 4-H Congress in the fall.
Blake Teal was awarded the Earl Knepps Agricultural Scholarship worth $500, as well as a separate $2,000 4-H scholarship to UT Martin, recognizing his excellence and future in agricultural pursuits.
One of the most prestigious honors in Tennessee 4-H, the Vol State Award, was presented to four Coffee County youth. This award is the highest level of recognition a 4-H member can achieve in the state. Congratulations to Blake Teal, Sarah Weaver, Brayden Kesling and Makenna Rowe for earning this distinguished title.
The accomplishments of these youth reflect their dedication, leadership, and bright futures—and they certainly made Coffee County proud in Knoxville. We can’t wait to see what next year brings for these incredible young leaders and the rising stars following in their footsteps
