Long-time Tullahoma mayor and well-known local personality Lane Curlee has joined the Tullahoma News team as business reporter.

“Over the past forty years I have written numerous types of columns for the Tullahoma News including Notes from the Mayor, Behind the Scenes and A Curious Fellow among others,” Curlee said upon kicking off his weekly business section in the Tullahoma News. “Last week the Tullahoma News editor, Duane Sherrill, asked me to start writing articles featuring the Tullahoma business community. I’m pleased and excited to do so (on a part time basis) and sharing the news of the Tullahoma business community with the people of Tullahoma.”

Curlee encourages businesses to contact him to set up an interview about their business.

“To the businesses of Tullahoma: please let me know if you have leadership changes, new products or services, expansions, special achievements and so on,” he said. “To the people of Tullahoma: are you curious about a new development or a new business in town? Let me know and I’ll check it out. There are a lot of good things happening in Tullahoma. I look forward to helping get the word out about our Tullahoma business community. Happy reading.
