Over the summer, Tullahoma High School received exciting news, as it learned that students performed exceptionally well on their Advanced Placement (AP) exams during the 2024-25 school year.
AP exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score and earning a student college credit. Scores of 3 or higher are generally considered passing, and THS had a higher percentage of students receiving 3s than the state and global average.
“I am proud to celebrate our AP students and their teachers for their exceptional achievements, as this is a true testament to their hard work and perseverance,” said THS Principal Greg English. “We have amazing students and an all-star team of teachers at Tullahoma High School. Though I’m not at all surprised to see these scores, I’m thrilled to share the news with the Tullahoma community.”
Tullahoma High School had 100 percent of students receive a 3 or higher on the AP English Literature exam, with an average score of 3.71. Tennessee saw 80.1 percent of students receive a 3 or higher, while 74.80 percent of global test-takers received a 3 or more.

“I am unbelievably proud of every Tullahoma High School Advanced Placement student and teacher for these incredible scores,” said TCS Director of Schools Dr. Catherine Stephens. “These results not only highlight these students’ dedication to their academics, but also their teachers, who ensured that they were ready to excel on their tests. THS continues to be a shining star, as our students are well prepared for their next steps, post high school.”
