Tullahoma football breaks into Top Ten
GRAY DEYOSports Writer
A recent poll conducted by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association ranked the Tullahoma football team as the 10th-best team in the state in the class of 5A.
The Wildcats are putting together a heck of a year. They had the pieces to be a great team coming into 2025, but now those pieces are executing and performing. They are currently 3-0 on the season, and through those contests, they have scored an average of 43.7 points a game and have won by an average of 24.7 points a game. Their overall performance has created buzz around the city of Tullahoma that the potential of something special happening again may be in the cards. People outside the city are now giving validity to that idea, by ranking the Tullahoma Wildcats football team as one of the better teams in the 5A class this season.
One of the schools ranked ahead of Tullahoma on the list is Lincoln County. They currently reside in the seventh spot with a 3-0 record.

In three weeks, Tullahoma will take on the Falcons. If Tullahoma can keep stringing together wins against some tough opponents–White County, Nolensville, and Lawrence County–then they could be well on track in establishing themselves inside the top five of the TSWA rankings.
The three schools mentioned are the teams the Wildcats take on before they face Lincoln County. They combine for a record of 7-2.
