Tullahoma HS XC competes at Macon County

Earlier in October, the Tullahoma High School XC team participated in an event in Macon County. Several runners had impressive finishes.

The Tullahoma XC team, as they have progressed deeper into the 2025 season, have only become stronger as a unit. This was proven at the Macon County event with several runners hitting PRs—KG Nichols, Julianna Ites, Hannah Eakin, Jackson Ites, Everett Tinsley, and Jace Fisher. Whatever system is in place in the Wildcats’ XC program needs to stay. Wildcat runners improving drastically throughout the season and careers has become commonplace.

At Macon, Tullahoma also had seven medalists. Nichols for the girls’ team had the best finish on the team and out of anyone competing. She secured a first-place finish, while Ites grabbed second, and Eakin finished in 12th. For the boys’ side, Lukas Price had the best placement, finishing in second, Wyatt Dorsett placed sixth, Jackson Ites placed 8th with his PR time of the season, and Lincoln Bitton rounded out the boys’ medals by placing 10th.

This has been an outstanding season for the Tullahoma XC team, and as the 2025 season begins to wind down, some of this momentum should be able to roll into the Track season, as some of the runners are also on the Wildcats’ track team.
