‘Critical moment for the Post’ – Legion calls important meeting

The local American Legion Post Commander is urging members to attend their Nov. 25 for a very important matter.

In his letter to Legion members, Albert Haas, commander of Post 43 of the American Legion, called the meeting a “critical moment for the Post” and urged members to provide their input.

“As we look ahead, our post is facing important decisions that will impact our future,” the commander said. “The direction we take depends on the strength of our membership and the engagement of our community—which is you.”

He went on to urge all members, even those who rarely attend, to be there for the Nov. 25 meeting.

“Your participation in our next meeting is not just encouraged, it’s essential,” he said. “We will be discussing key issues that will determine our next steps, from our community presence to the services we provide. Please join us on Nov. 25, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the post hall to lend your voice. Even if you haven’t been able to attend meetings regularly, now is the time to make your input count. I look forward to seeing you there.”
