A senior of the Tullahoma softball team, Kaitlynn Gattis, has chosen her destination for where she wants to continue her playing career and education. On Nov. 21, Gattis, at the home field of the Tullahoma softball team, signed with Motlow Community College.

The extremely talented Gattis proved last season that she had what it takes to play at the collegiate level. She played an integral part in the softball team, finishing with an overall record of 20-11. This is the most wins the Lady Wildcats have had in a single season since the 2015-2016 season.

Gattis’ last year had a .265 batting average. In her opportunities at the plate, she did some real damage. She was tied for the second second-highest homerun total on the team (2), she had the third-highest double total (9), and the second-highest RBI total (32).  It will be fun to see Gattis for one final season in a Tullahoma uniform, as the 2025-2026 awaits. She will be one of the cornerstone players of this ‘Cats Softball team this season, as they try to have similar success to what they did last year.
