What’s playing at the cinema this holiday season?

It’s that time of year where families gather around and enjoy some classic Christmas movies, whether it be at home or on the big screen.
This holiday season, Regal Cinemas has released its schedule of its “HS25” where the theaters, including Tullahoma’s own Regal theater, will show one classic Christmas or holiday movie each day for the month of December. Thus far, Regal Cinemas had showings for “The Holiday,” “A Madea Christmas,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” and the 2018 “The Grinch”.
This past week started with a Mystery Movie on Monday, Dec. 8, where theater goers didn’t know what was playing until they arrived, while on Tuesday, Dec. 9, had the showing of “Love Actually”.

Also playing at Regal Cinemas will be “Dick Van Dyke 100th Celebration” which will look back the entertainer’s illustrious career as he celebrates his 100th birthday. The screening will feature rare behind-the-scenes stories, never-before-seen moments, and classic clips from “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “Mary Poppins,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” and more. Also featured will be many stories told by including Mary Tyler Moore, Carl Reiner, Chita Rivera, Michele Lee, Tim Conway, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, Betty White, Derek Hough and Van Dyke himself.

Meanwhile, the Montana Drive-In will also have its normally scheduled screenings. On tap this week are “Zootopia 2,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,” and “Wicked: For Good”.
