Ralph Wellington Patterson, 93
Ralph Wellington Patterson of Tullahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence in Tullahoma at the age of 93 years.
A native of Glasgow, Montana, he is the son of the late Wesley Irvin and Mary Ellen Foust Patterson. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Ralph Patterson Jr., brothers, Danny and Dennis Patterson, and one sister, Martha. Ralph loved the Lord and was faithful to serve him. He lived to glorify his heavenly father. He enjoyed Bible Study, searching Ancestry.com, working with wood, cooking, watching Amir Tsarfati give daily updates on Jerusalem and the Middle East and talking with others.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Tullahoma at 3 p.m. with Brother Mark Puckett officiating. Friends may visit at the church with the family on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. After the services, Mr. Patterson will be taken back to Glascow, Montana to be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Glascow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Samaritan’s Purse for people in need when they are facing a tragedy.
Ralph was the oldest of six children. After high school he enlisted in the Air Force where he met and married Georgianna LeFrance in Presque Isle, ME. He then discharged from the service and had his first child, Mary Ellen (Ellie). Ralph then moved back to his hometown and had three more children, Debra, Cynthia and Pamela. He re-enlisted during the Korean Conflict and served in Misawa, Japan, Loring AFB, ME, Insirlek AFB, Turkey, where our BeBeat was born, Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO, Tainan AFB, Taiwan, Kessler AFB, MS. Fort Lee, VA where he adopted Anita, Duluth IAP, MN Plattsburgh AFB, NY and Buckley Air Station, Denver where Nicole was adopted. He then retired in 1986. Ralph had a successful business as a handiman, Jack of all trades. He moved to O’Fallon, IL in 2017 and then to Tullahoma to live with his oldest until his passing. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela, Cynthia, Anita, Debra, Nicole and Mary Ellen (Ellie). Ralph is also survived by two sisters, Ruthie, and Margaret, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
