Russ Barrett, a leading contractor in southern middle Tennessee since 1990, has employed Jon Gault as Chief Operations Officer. As COO Gault will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations.

Gault brings 21 years’ experience as a roofer, home builder and restoration specialist, along with deep ties to the local construction community. He founded his first construction company while attending college and later worked for a nationwide construction firm, where he gained valuable experience helping expand operations across the country.

For the past 14 years, Gault has owned and managed Anchor Constructors, serving homeowners and businesses throughout the region. While the Anchor Constructors name will be dissolved, its work and customer relationships will continue under Barrett Construction, ensuring existing customers receive the same level of care and service they have come to expect.

“I have known Jon for over 20 years and respect his work ethic and expertise. I have every confidence Jon will be a great addition to our Barrett team,” said Russ Barrett.

Barrett’s slogan, “We love to build” is an indication of the passion and diversity of his construction projects. Barrett Construction is known for its wide range of residential and commercial services including renovations, additions, roofing and new construction.

The company also assists homeowners through insurance claims following storm or structural damage. Barrett Construction frequently works with clients on custom projects, from early planning through completion.

Barrett Construction has offices in Manchester and Tullahoma and employs 19 people.

Notable Barrett Construction projects include area State Park building renovations, multiple Bonnaroo buildings and Roll Like a Rockstar camping area, complete renovations of both the Tullahoma and Manchester Chambers of Commerce, renovation of the Sundrop Shoppe building and numerous Blood Assurance buildouts across Tennessee.

Barrett Construction also built several high profile custom homes including Little Richard’s 7500 square foot home in Lynchburg and the 6000 square foot home known as Nanhaven in Beersheba Springs.
