McLayne Bobo, senior for the Tullahoma Lady Wildcats basketball team, has put forth a strong year of hoops so far. That has earned her a spot on the 3A Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee Player of the Year Watch List midway through the 2025-2026 season.

Bobo has had some great performances this season. A couple of her best games this year came at the Indy Hoop Fest in Franklin over Christmas break. At the tournament, the Wildcats played two games against Franklin High School and Christ Presbyterian High School. In the two games against some top competition, including a Missouri commit from Franklin Cecilie Brandimore, Bobo combined for 35 points–22 against Franklin and 13 against CPA.

Another notable game from Bobo this year was in a 42-38 victory against Rockvale High School. Bobo in the game had a team-high of 21 points, with 10 of them coming in the fourth quarter. Her play down the stretch was critical in getting the Lady Wildcats this win.

The Tullahoma senior, with 10 games left in the regular season, is on the BCAT watchlist with 14 other players. The players are the following. Jade Reed (South Gibson), Lauren Clark (Stone Memorial), Gracie Butler (Upperman), Taylor Dolente (Upperman), Gracie Clark (White City), Bella Winngham (White City), Gwen Carroll (Alcoa), Karmine Carmichael (Cocke City), Sydney Wilhite (Cumberland City), Andrea Flores (Daniel Boone), Aaliyah Story (Daniel Boone), Chelby Jordan (Dyersburg), Ke’Miyah Buggs (Fayette Ware), and Ri’Kiya Mitchell (Jackson SS).
