Senior tight end for the Tullahoma High School football team, Gavin Seabolt, recently announced his commitment to play collegiate football. Seabolt will be bringing his talents to The University of Virginia’s College at Wise.

The four-year member of the Wildcat football team had a great close to his senior season. At the TE position, he brought forth high-level blocking abilities, along with the ability to create big plays. In the year, he had 13 receptions for 223 yards and one touchdown. Seabolt had a yard per catch average of 17.2 yards. This was the highest average on the team compared to teammates with at least five catches. 

His lone touchdown on the season came on no better night, Homecoming Night. Seabolt, against Franklin County, broke past their last line of defenders and connected with his Wildcat quarterback on a 43-yard TD strike. Tullahoma ended up winning this game by a score of 43-0. As the years go on, Seabolt making plays similar to the one he did against the opposing Rebels on Oct. 24 should continue. It will be cool to see him have more of these moments in his new threads for UVA Wise.
