Herman Dale Nicholson, 79, of Decherd, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Highpoint Health Medical Center.  He was born in Tullahoma on Nov. 16, 1946, to the late Wilburt and Vera Mae (Stone) Nicholson.

A graveside service were held on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Bro. Fabron Nicholson officiating.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
