Herschel Wayne Brewer, 75, of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Highpoint Health Medical Center.  A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on May 30, 1950, to the late John Thomas and Anna Elizabeth (Partin) Brewer. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Don Parker and Robert Tipps officiating.  Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
