Senior on the Tullahoma girls’ soccer team, McLayne Bobo, along with 12 of the other best soccer players in the AA Class, was listed on a TSWA All-State Team.

Long removed from the Lady Wildcats soccer team’s run to a second-place finish at the state tournament, Bobo continues to earn accolades. Deservingly so. In the 2025 season through 22 games, Bobo had a team-high 38 goals. This went into her passing 100 career goals for THS.

This level of play from Bobo, along with the elite play of her teammates, led to Tullahoma having an overall record of 20-2. In this 20-win season, the Lady Wildcats went on a 12-game win streak. Through this streak, it became clear that Tullahoma was one of the best teams in the state, outscoring opponents 74-4 in these twelve games.

On this warpath of Ws and later past it, the Lady Wildcats secured a district title and a region title. Bobo was named the MVP of the district tournament and a member of the all-tournament team for the region tourney. In the state tournament, along with two of her teammates, junior Brindley Duncan and senior Lexi Chamblee, Bobo was also named to the all-state tournament team.

Bobo is now committed to play for the Lady Blue Raiders basketball team at the University of Middle Tennessee, meaning her competitive soccer career is, in all likelihood over. But with that, she went out in about as good of anyone could have. Congrats to Bobo on being named to this prestigious team, and for all she accomplished in her four years of playing for the THS girls’ soccer team.
