Willie Benton “Benny” Swift of Tullahoma passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Thomas- West Hospital at the age of 72. Mr. Swift was born in Cookeville to the late William Charlie and Lucille Weddington Swift. During his life, Benny worked as a machinist at AEDC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Swift; and one sister, Janie Reeves. Mr. Swift is survived by two daughters, Dawn George (John), and Amanda Callaway (Jason); one brother, Lewis Swift (Treva); three grandchildren, Jason Callaway II, Jodee George Seals (Colt), and Alyvia Callaway; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Swift will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with John Westerfield, Jr. officiating.
