Arnold Air Force Base will be moving a large piece of equipment through Shelbyville and Tullahoma on Thursday morning April 9. Local residents are advised that there could be a disruption to normal traffic. 

The equipment delivery route will be coming from Shelbyville through Tullahoma on Highway Alternate 41. The route will take Jackson Street to East Lincoln Street and onto Anderson Street and Forrest Boulevard. Once on base, the route will take Wattendorf Memorial Highway, UTSI Road, North Shore Road, and Pumping Station Road back to Wattendorf Highway to Gate 1. 

Traffic on two-lane roads will likely be impacted the most. Community members are encouraged to plan ahead for their morning commute.
