Area law enforcement warns of vape stings

S

Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, in a release on May 11, said that area law enforcement agencies will conduct upcoming “sweeps” of all stores that sale vaping and CBD products.

The release said that area schools are seeing an increased amount of vaping products and that the citations that have been issued to certain stores have not helped to reduce the amount of sales to minors.

The sheriff’s department, Manchester Police and Tullahoma Police will fully enforce all criminal laws going forward, according to the statement.

The announcement specifically cites Contributing to the Delinquency of a minor and Prohibited Purchase or Possession by Underage Persons.
