I feel a need to explain myself briefly. Some who read my letters to the editor may believe I hate the President or have ‘Trump derangement syndrome’. I do not hate him; I pray for him. I do hate much of what he stands for and how he and others represent him to the public. I understand it may be hard for some people to separate those concepts.

The real story with Iran

Last Sunday, 78% of eligible voters in Hungary voted out Vicktor Orban as President. Orban, endorsed by Draco II, Putin, and Netanyahu, even got a personal visit of support from VP J.D. Vance, but the people of Hungary saw right through Orban’s dictatorial ways and White Christian Nationalism stance and he has conceded the presidential election.

My wife suffered a freak fall recently that fractured two vertebrae and broke her collarbone. The ambulance took her to the local hospital where she was treated, and then sent home.

This is in response to Joe Sheeley’s “Last Letter to the Editor.” I recognized it was you without even seeing the name and I agree with you. I’ve followed your letters over the years. From my own letters, I know some folks read them, but like you, I’m not sure anyone is listening. At least anyone in a position to do things. Like you I feel we aren’t debating topics anymore, but don’t even agree on basic facts. The marketplace of ideas has become very unbalanced and I for one will miss seeing your thoughts. I hope to see you around town or maybe over at the HOSC sometime.

Canada, Mexico, Denmark/Greenland, Venezuela, Iran, Cuba. What other sovereign nation has Mr. Trump bullied, tried to antagonize, or threatened to attack? Any NATO country?
