Charles Eugene “Gene” McGee, 91, of Decherd, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Feb. 24, 1932, to the late Ezera and Ruth Ann (Mann) McGee. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Dr. Rev. Michael Clark officiating.  Interment followed at Mt. Garner with military honors bestowed. 

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
