Janet Louise Swaim McKinney of Tullahoma passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital at the age of 84.

Mrs. McKinney was born in Columbus, IN to the late Charles and Gladys Moore Swaim. During her life, Mrs. McKinney was a member of Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jack Wiley McKinney; and one sister, Vickie Swaim. Mrs. McKinney is survived by two sons, Mark Borders (Sandy), and John McKinney; two daughters, Dana Hardin (Jerry), and Cyndee Day (Wendell); two brothers, Robert Swaim, and Charles Swaim (JoAnne); four grandchildren, Jana Hardin Stovall, Brian Day, Danielle Hardin Creasy, and Monica Day Skinner; and nine great-grandchildren, Kacey, Kylee, Abby, Madison, Jackson, Charlotte, Samuel, Olivia, and Memphis.

Visitation for Mrs. McKinney will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Tim McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
