Shirley Jeanette Riddle, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at NHC at the age of 85.

Mrs. Riddle was born in Lynchburg to the late Ralph and Ruby Patterson Tankersley. During her life she worked as a secretary at Motlow State Community College and was a member of Marble Plains Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Riddle; and three brothers, Donald, Gerald, and Wendell Tankersley.

Mrs. Riddle is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Jack) Hawkins; three grandchildren, James Strausbaugh, Jessie Strausbaugh, and Lauren Hawkins; two great-grandchildren, Zain and Zara; and two sisters, Barbara (Johnny) Riddle, and Sandy (George) Martin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with the funeral to immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Roger Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
