Ellis Woodrow “Woody” Ashley Jr, 72, of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. He was born in Estill Fork, Alabama on Aug. 31, 1951, to the late Ellis Woodrow and Maggie Mable (Medley) Ashley Sr.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at noon in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Crawford Cemetery in Alabama.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
