A native of Tennessee, Danny was the son of the late Harold Spencer “Fat” Colyar and Adell “Mutt” McClung Colyar. He was preceded in death by his brother and best friend Timothy Joseph Colyar. He leaves behind his niece, Nicole Colyar and her children: Kolton Owsley, Nicholas Baskin and Kaleb Webb; his niece, Megan (Michael Pohlson), and their children: Dominick, Christian, Mylee, and Sophie; his cousins with whom he had special relationships; so many friends who meant the world to him; and his special friend Betty Smith.
Danny lived in Peoria, IL, for many years and relocated to Tullahoma in the mid 80s. He loved the Lord and prayed sincerely that God would bless each person he talked to. He was a helper and a giver to those in need. He loved his family very much and was loved by many. He loved life and really enjoyed reminiscing about the good ole days and fun times. He loved to laugh!
Danny was a collector of Superman comic books and all things Superman. He had a collection that filled every room in his house. He could tell you anything about Superman. He had a Superman costume made, and he won first prize at the contest in Wartrace, TN. He was quite proud of that.
Danny was loved by many and will be missed.
Tullahoma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
