Velma Juanita Walls, 84, of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in her home while being comforted and loved dearly by her family.  Velma was born in Franklin County on Dec. 5, 1939, to Elsie (Garrison) and L. B. Floyd, Sr. 

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 2 in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.  Interment followed at Franklin Memorial Gardens.

Watson Funeral Home and Memorial Park was in charge of arrangements.
