Lester Russell “Russ” Stubblefield, 89, of Sherwood, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at Hospice of Chattanooga.  He was born on March 1, 1935, in Sinking Cove to the late Lester and Hattie (Summers) Stubblefield. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Gordon Matthews and Monty Adams officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donation be made to Crow Creek Valley Community Center, P.O. Box 5, Sherwood, TN 37376.
