Shirley Jeanette Gault, 88, of Monteagle, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center. Shirley was the only child born to the late James Taylor and Minnie Lucille (Berryhill) Harris, on Jan. 17, 1936. Shirley worked at Monterey Station in Cowan from 1987 until she retired in 1997. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Scot Bradford officiating.  Interment will follow in Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.
