Marianne Cavett Obituary
Marianne Cavett, 83, of Normandy joyfully joined our Savior in His heavenly home, on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024.
Marianne loved the Lord and was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Tullahoma. She adored music and enjoyed hearing the bells on the pipe organ. A long-time member of the Daughters of the King, Marianne took seriously her calling to bless all children and keep everyone in prayer.
Marianne was preceded in death by her parents Maria Sparacino Cole, Troy and Carolyn Cole, an infant brother, and her sisters in heart, Vivian Schwartz and Margaret Lewis.
She is survived by Lee, the love of her life and beloved husband of 61 years, daughters, Rene’ Cavett, Laura (Larry) Kuntz, son, Lee Cavett III, her grandchildren Greg Weaver, Nate Kuntz, and Athena Cavett, several cousins, nieces and nephews, godson, James V. Lewis, and numerous friends.
A service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church, with Fr. Michael Murphy officiating. Cremation arrangements were through Tullahoma Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church or to The Daughters of the King c/o St. Barnabas.
